Friday Evening Wellness Walks


Alpaca-way your troubles…

Unwind, relax and begin the weekend by clearing away the cobwebs.  Combining gentle exersise with our adorable  alpacas and stunning scenery this will ceratinly go some way to reducing stress levels and focus the mind on what is important to you.

These hour long sessions in small groups of five have been designed with relaxation and wellbeing in mind.

You are booking for: Friday 107h May, 6:30pm-7:30pm.

This booking is for one session on Friday 24th May

Booking for the following Friday will be released a week in advance of the date and so on.

Summer evenings create the most blissful light in south west scotland and offer the perfect setting for peace and relaxation.  Couple that with our beguiling alpcas and we have the perfect recipe for some quaility ‘me’ time.

Who can benefit? These sessions are designed for those 16 and over, participants will need to be mobile enough to enjoy a gentle walk accross farmland.

Exsercise…Lets get moving:

It is a well established theory that excersie can reduce stres levels whilst the theraputic nature of being close to animals is also considered beneficial in reducing anxiety and boosing self confidence. Taking gentle exceries is a posative step towards achiving wellness, yet many of us (me included!) often find the notion of physical activity off-putting and a little over-whelming. However, by adding our four legged friends into the mix these worries fall by the way side and your body and mind can begin to enjoy some of the benefits of getting outdoors and getting moving.

Lets build….Self-esteem

Walking with alpacas is an instant leveller, build up a lasting bond with your alpaca as you develop trust and respect for each other (and probably a some ‘fun and games’ along the way!).

Enjoying outside space is good for the spirit and soul, fresh air, panaramic views countless sight and sounds that we simply forget about or have lost in our busy day-to-day lives help to keep us grounded in a fast moving world. Stop, take a breath and enjoy!
